Through research our team has conducted, we have identified a number of ingredients we think are essential for a successful Housing First program. Our findings in this area dovetail nicely with those of other researchers who have also been investigating issues around Housing First implementation. These days, a lot of people say that they are practicing Housing first or that they believe in Housing first. But, what do they really mean? How do we know if someone is doing Housing first? The problem is that if we aren’t doing it right, we’re going to be less effective at finding the most vulnerable members of our community and fully supporting them. Take a look at this study.
